The company

History

Located in the street Pastourelle, 17, in the heart of the famous historical district of the Marais, the Company Artmetal has elected this place its home. We are pleased to present our collections composed of more than 120 000 models of metal stampings (more than 20 000 on the Web): from jewelry, fashion and military buttons (Coinderoux collection) to leather goods, from lightings to furnishing (more than 1000 models of galleries on the web) and souvenir products.

So many models that inspire the creative spirit of our customers. The Company Artmetal Janvier manufactures its models following the technique of stamping, clipping and press working in its factory located in Savigny le Temple (77). It brings together the tools of several collections, the oldest of which dates back to 1829.

Know-how

A stamping is a metal pattern in bas-relief made by striking or pressing a leaf of brass between a mold and a hardened engraved steel punch. The fineness of every detail of the drawings testifies to the subtlety of its realization. Creating a stamped piece is today the only technique allowing the faithful reproduction of motives of multiple details. Also, the creation of unique tools for each model makes the edition of the models almost infinite. The mold itself is a work of art that justifies the utmost care, maintenance and sophisticated repairs; Artmetal‘s tooling is part of the National Heritage. The diversity and quality of these 120,000 models make them a designer’s dream.
